Writing, laughing, learning, thinking, talking, praying, singing, dancing and traveling …these are a few of my favorite things. Here are a few more: music, peppermint, Earl & Lady Grey tea, dark chocolate, Vera Bradley, comic strips, golf, and the great outdoors. My favorite writers? Hmm…Hard to pick a few! I would have to go with: Whitman, Dickinson, and Thoreau for my American trio. I love the contemporary poetry of David Whyte, Mary Oliver, Billy Collins, and Naomi Shihab Nye.
I am in Westerville, Ohio, but I don’t reside in a corn field… and I’ve never tipped a cow. 
Instead, I enjoy Jeni’s, Graeters, and Handel’s ice-cream, Cheryl’s cookies, the Franklin Park Conservatory (Blooms & Butterflies!), the Columbus Zoo, COSI, and the Short North–a wonderful art district that rivals any in the nation.
